On July 21st, the SCiAN team had their quarterly company-wide fun day. The team had Friday afternoon off, food, and mini golf in store for them this time around. After enjoying a delicious lunch together, the team headed out to Stouffville to participate in a highly competitive round of mini golf. One hour, nineteen holes, and countless unsuccessful swings later, the SCiAN team completed the pirate ship themed course. We closed out the day with ice cream and slushies before heading home for an early weekend.
Company bonding days like these are so important, particularly to SCiAN management. While the flexibility of hybrid working is a crowd favourite, it also means less face-to-face time in the office. That’s why SCiAN makes it a priority to schedule in these bonding activities: to cultivate company culture, reduce burnout and ultimately to have fun together as a team!
What’s in the works for the next company fun day, you ask? We’re tossing around the idea of the haunted escape room as Casa Loma.
